Rob Ray is Shocked. Tell Us Why and Win $50 Gift Certificate
After the Sabres beat the Leafs, the media conducted the usual post-game interviews in the Sabres locker room.  During an interview with Ryan Miller, Rob Ray is standing in the background and apparently something or someone catches his eye.  And whatever it is, it seems to startle him. A lot. (video after the jump)

No one seems to have any idea what Razor saw which provides us with today's contest.

In the comments, provide us with the most interesting/creative theory as to what startled Rob Ray and win a $50 gift

Buffalo in Sunday New York Times. Again.
Nicolai Ouroussoff, the New York Times author who recently profiled Buffalo's rich architectural history, has a compelling article in today's Times.  In today's Reinventing America's Cities, Ouroussoff discusses the ongoing neglect of American cities.
If you haven't read the article, do so.  After addressing New Orleans, Los Angeles,

Ralph Wilson, 90 years old, and Alive
Update: Since we've received over 1,300 visitors in the past 48 hours searching for 'Ralph Wilson dies' and related terms, we thought we'd update this post confirming Mr. Wilson is still alive.

The Buffalo rumor mill was running full throttle on Friday night as rumors of Ralph Wilson's death spread across the region.  Using the best new medium to track breaking news - Twitter - we asked if others had heard the same rumor and could actually confirm the veracity of the claim.

Bills and T.O. Debut on Monday Night Football
This just in from NFL headquarters. . .

The Bills decision to sign T.O. is paying immediate dividends . . . at least in terms of exposure for the team.  For the 40th anniversary season of Monday Night Football, the first Monday night game of the year will be the Buffalo Bills visiting Foxboro to play the New England Patriots.

Edwards and T.O. will be in Foxboro for Tom Brady's return, and the nation will have the chance to tune in to watch.  More details here

Should Lindy Ruff be Fired?
Last night, the Sabres dropped yet another critical game to yet another losing team.  This time, the Sabres fell to Ottawa 4-2 fresh from their third period collapse against Atlanta.  With the most recent loss to Ottawa, the Sabres are now 1-5 against the 12th ranked Senators this year.

If the season ended today, the Sabres would miss the playoffs - again.  Of course, the season doesn't end today, and the Sabres could still go on a run over the last 12 games of the season to make the playoffs.  But what if they don't?

This is Lindy Ruff's 11th year

Hitler, Longtime Bills Fan, Responds to TO Signing
In case you've somehow missed this local internet phenomenon, some clever Bills fan modified Der Untergang with new subtitles.  Rather than focus on the military tactics of WWII, Hitler and his gang are now focused on the Bills personnel moves.  (Video after the jump)

There are a handful of inappropriate words, so this video is likely not suitable for work (depending on where you work).

As you'll see, Hitler, like some Bills fans, was immediately upset by the decision to bring TO to town, but, at the end

Holy *#*@, Bills Sign Terrell Owens
In their most surprising personnel move since the Drew Bledsoe trade - and maybe most surprising personnel move ever - the Buffalo Bills have signed Terrell Owens to 1 year contract for $6.5 million. Owens, who is 2nd all-time in receiving touchdowns, has been one of the NFL's most controversial players.  He's criticized his quarterback, he's done sit-ups in his driveway during a press conference, and he's cried

Warren Buffett and The Buffalo News
2008 was a bad year for anyone with any connection to financial markets.  Even the greatest investor of his generation, Warren Buffett, experienced his worst year ever

Mr. Buffett released his annual shareholder letter late last week in which he discussed the outlook for the economy (the US economy will "in shambles in 2009"), the mortgage crisis ("beware of geeks bearing formulas"), and the insurance business.  Unlike past
