Buffalo's Urban Pioneers Lecture, 1/9/07

The Landmark Society continue its Tuesday Noon Lecture Series with "Creating Buffalo's Renaissance". Recently relocated to Buffalo after living in Southern California and New Jersey, Lori & Mike McGlone will talk about quality of life and sense of community in Buffalo versus their experiences elsewhere.
Each month the Tuesday Noon discussions focuses on four rotating weekly topics; Buffalo's Urban Pioneers: Creating Buffalo's Renaissance, Buffalo's Neighborhoods, Repurposing Buffalo's Existing Structures, and Uniquely Buffalo. The Nature of the Niagara Frontier will be our topic on those occasional fifth Tuesdays. As 2007 marks the 175th Anniversary of the City of Buffalo, our year-long theme for all events will be, "Celebrating 175 Years of Buffalo's Creative Community, 1832-2007."
