5-7 p.m: Art Activity
8 p.m: Concert: Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus
Join us when the Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus, now in its 6th season, returns to the Albright-Knox stage for an evening of music and harmony. The Chorus, which is comprised of 75 remarkable voices, is under the direction of Barbara Wagner and will perform an eclectic mix of music from pops to Broadway to opera. The performance will include a new repertoire as well as some old favorites
including 'The Rhythm of Life' by Cy Coleman, 'The Snow' by Elgar, and Puccini's 'Nessun Dorma'.
7-10 p.m: Nickel City Poetry Slam
Join our featured poets "Mighty" Mike McGee and Robbie Telfer as they perform a poetry duet in the second season of the Nickel City Poetry Slam Series, hosted by Gabrielle Bouliane and Just Buffalo Literary Center. " Mighty" Mike McGee is an international spoken word artist, writer, performer, speaker, slam poet and comic. He has performed in thousands of venues all over North America so don't miss this unique opportunity to hear his poetic waxing right here in Buffalo. Robbie Telfer is a veteran performance poet who has performed in over 20 major American cities and whose work can be found in numerous publications. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
