The show, scheduled to run three weeks, became an instant hit and was performed in several venues for the next couple of years with different cast members. This special performance, celebrating BUA’s 15th anniversary, features the original cast, director, and musical director: Mary Craig, Gail Golden, Jeanmarie Lally, Sheila McCarthy, and Loraine O’Donnell. A...My Name is Alice is a grrl-power show, with five female cast members playing over 20 "instant stories" and musical numbers centered on the female experience. can i get last weeks issue online?
I saw the original in 1992...probably 5 or 6 times. I loved it so much and brought everyone I knew to see it. They loved it and so on and so on. I can't believe it's been 15 years. We laughed and we cried. Kudos to the ladies. Keep on doing it!
