Women Confronting Globalization @ Hallwalls, Tonight

The Latin American Solidarity Committee/WNY Peace Center & Mexican Solidarity Network are presenting Women Confronting Globalization: Cultural Resistance, Fair trade, & Human Rights tonight at Hallwalls. The event includes a lecture by Gabriela Martinez Lopez of the Center for Political Analysis and Social and Economic Research (CAPISE) San Cristóbal de la Casas, Chiapas.

Ms. Lopez will also screen a video made by a women's weaving collective, and have samples of their weavings to show and sell.
