Buddies Open Mic Literary Hour
Closing out a busy period in the local literary scene is Buddies Open Mic Literary Hour, featuring poems and short stories by local GLBT writers, every 4th Thursday @ 7:PM. Local GLBT writers interested in reading should contact ldvoices@yahoo.com.
I'm happy to say that in past two weeks, there were spoken word and poetry events for nearly everyone, five in seven days, and that's only the events I found listings for! Buddies is at 166 Franklin Street and no longer on N.Johnson Park. The have been gone for over a year.
