The redevelopment of the Phoenix Brewery at Washington and Virginia Street is nearing completion. Sinatra & Company is converting the building into a mix of 31 apartments and 3,000 sq.ft. of commercial space. It is the first market-rate apartment project within the Medical Campus. Carmina Wood Morris is project architect.
There has been extensive work inside and outside of the building. One of the finer details was the corbelling brickwork returned to the front façade to restore an earlier “repair.” Work crews are now turning their attention to restoration of the building’s medina stone along its foundation.
Apartments, a mix of one and two-bedroom units, are priced in the $1,300 to $2,500 range. Occupancy starts next month.
