On Friday, June 3rd, 2106, SolRise will be hosting a reggae, hip-hop, dancehall and R&B fundraising party that will help to raise enough money to paint the exterior of the group’s Arts Cultural Center and farm practices – urban farming, permaculture and food education.
SolRise set out to create a one-of-a-kind art center, located in an uplifting setting on the city’s East Side. The organization regularly features inspirational artists and musicians that come together in an grassroots atmosphere. SolRise is dedicated to music, the arts, healthy eating and living, and the earth, at a time when we could all be paying a lot more attention how we live.
Currently, SolRise is in need of a paint job, and in order to make that happen, the community is going to come out and support the arts and local music.
