The Buffalo Planning Board reviewed plans for an office and retail building across the street from the SolarCity plant today. Mechanical Contracting firm John W. Danforth is working with JT Vaeth LLC to construct a two-story, 18,000 square foot building at 1160 South Park Avenue. Tim Horton’s will occupy one of three storefront’s planned for the building. An urgent care facility is eyeing a portion of the first floor as well according to The Buffalo News. Pyramid Brokerage is marketing the space.
The office and retail building will be located on a 26-acre parcel that once housed a hydroponics facility. The company is also constructing an 83,000 sq.ft. commercial building that will largely be occupied by its pipe and sheet metal fabrication operations. The remaining space is available for lease.
The Planning Board tabled the project until the Common Council approves the plan.
