Country music fans might want to swing by Deep South Taco this afternoon for a very unique impromptu concert. Singer Easton Corbin will be making a special guest appearance at the taqueria in advance of opening for singer Carrie Underwood at First Niagara Center later this evening (Tuesday, May 24).
Deep South Taco owner Richard Hamilton reached out to Corbin’s management, asking if Corbin might want to play, shake some hands, and hang out beforehand. Due to Hamilton’s past connections with Nashville, Corbin and his management team agreed to put on a show at Deep South. Corbin will be stationed at the restaurant for a couple of hours this afternoon, and is expected to play a live set out on the patio. From there he will host a meet and greet at one of Deep South’s rooftop cabanas.
This guy is easily one of the top country singers in the business.
“There’s no charge to stop by and attend the show,” said Hamilton. “This guy is easily one of the top country singers in the business. He was gracious enough to put on this warm-up show at the restaurant. His equipment will be rolling in around noon, and we’re hoping that he will play around five songs this afternoon, although we don’t have an exact start time or play time. Once again, we’re trying to create some additional excitement in Downtown Buffalo, by getting creative with the entertainment offerings that are available to us. I figured that it couldn’t hurt to try to pull this off. And the result is going to be a heck of a lot of fun for country fans of all ages.”
