EXPO Market is the perfect place to set up an artisan market. There’s plenty of room to work with, there are a ton of food options, easy access to the Metro Rail, and it’s tied in with the Market Arcade. For all of these reasons, and more, the permanent food and drink operators at EXPO have decided to invite a faction of local artisans to participate in market activities.
Later today (Wednesday, April 20) the following artisans will be setting up at EXPO from 4pm to 8pm:
Her Story Boutique, Sarah Danielle, Rust Belt Love, Buffalo Adore, DIG Buffalo, That Popcorn Shack, and Bootleg Bucha
Hopefully, if this is a success, there will be additional cooperative initiatives of this nature down the road. There have been talks of hosting outdoor markets on the sidewalk of the Market Arcade this summer. This just could be the prelude to that sort of artisan venture.
So come on down and try some locally brewed kombucha, and walk away with some pretty awesome locally made treasures. Also, be sure to stop over to EXPO – 617 Main Street in Downtown Buffalo, New York for a wide assortment of goodies that will help to get you through the week.
