Graziano Entertainment is once again bringing together a few of the preeminent music artists for a show stopping event at Milkie’s on Friday, April 29. The show will be a hiphop lover’s paradise, with the likes of B. Dolan , Mad Dukez, and Tré Ocho Guevara mixing it up, along with house dj Christian Martinez aka DJ Trappy Gilmore.
“Spotlyte captures the best buffalo has to offer in terms of live music and entertainment,” says artist and promoter Anthony Graziano. “Spotlyte‘s next headliner B.Dolan is a must see hip hop genius representing Strange Famous Records.”
Graziano got a foothold in the industry after he decided to forego the assistance of myriad promotion companies. “As an artist, I was dicked around by every promotion company in the area so when I started Graziano Ent I wanted to make it was purely about the music, the artists, the art,” Graziano explained. “We want to bring the spotlyte, to not only Buffalo but all it has to offer as well. This is the beginning for the series. With plans to have themed edition like beach edition or ladies edition, etc., and also a multitude of amazing acts both local and national, spotlyte will only get more and more popular.
“As creators of spotlyte, myself and Jacebeats are passionate about a lot of things involving this series, but what’s been the most gratifying is that smile on a young performer’s face after they kill a set or that ecstatic scream from the girl that just won a free cd and ticket to next show. There’s nothing like this in the city right now. We have surprises at every show, the best deals on live music, constant giveaways, and most importantly an excellent vibe that’s naturally contagious. The future will bring bigger and bigger and bigger shows at all kinds of venues and places but I find it key to take one step at a time.”
Here’s the breakdown for Spotlyte Vol.2
B. Dolan is an explosive, confrontational hip-hop lyricist and performer from Providence, RI who first came on the scene in 2008. Starting with a lo-fi, apocalyptic concept record titled The Failure, Dolan floored listeners with tracks that were at turns personal, poetic, sweeping and strange. Years ahead of its time stylistically, it was released by Sage Francis Strange Famous imprint, where fans began slowly gravitating to the album and to Dolan’s intense live performances. Since his signing to SFR, Dolan has toured exhaustively and internationally to win himself a devoted cult following. So far his continually shapeshifting presentation, outsider perspective, and masterful execution have kept them coming back. KILL THE WOLF TOUR 2016 is B. Dolan’s first headlining tour of North America.
