The food delivery floodgates are wide open these days in Buffalo. Grubhub, one of the country’s largest restaurant delivery services, has been operating in Buffalo for a few months now. In that time, the company has managed to gain some solid ground, not just because of its national reputation, but because of its wide ranging window of delivery times. After merging with another food delivery company called Seamless, Grubhub immediately began to set the standards for restaurant delivery in the US.
A Grubhub search conducted, using an address in the Elmwood Village, brought up 24 results (Skip the Dishes brought up 42). The list included Kaydara Noodle Bar, Roux Soup Bar and Café, Roly Poly, Deep South Taco, Sato, Dinosaur BBQ, and Bailey Seafood – a good mix of food options. BRO reached out to a local restaurateur that opted to go with Grubhub for his food delivery services, and the client informed us that he liked that the company delivered during the day, not just at dinnertime. For restaurants that serve lunch and dinner, that is definitely something to consider.
Suffice to say, Buffalo now has plenty of food delivery options to accommodate the growing number of restaurants. And food lovers are sufficiently covered, no matter what time they are looking to order their favorite meals. The convenience of having a third party take care of ordering (and even pick-ups) is priceless for restaurant operators, many of which would otherwise not even offer food delivery. These types of services make it so convenient, that it’s hard to say no.
