One of the best things about Local Restaurant Week, which kicks off today, is exploring new places to go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A lot of people actually wait for Restaurant Week to try out new places. And why not? During the week-long event, participating eateries do their best to showcase some of their signature creations. Take William K’s for example. The restaurant opened its doors on New Years Day at the Buffalo waterfront (Erie Basin Marina). One of their staple foods is wood-fired pizza. During Restaurant Week, the operators have put together a couple of neat dining packages.
The one that appears to be the most appealing for the price (standard Restaurant Week pricing) is Chef Todd’s specialty salad, a choice of William K’s wood fired pizza, and a glass of house wine, all for $20.16. That’s a pretty good deal, especially considering the handsome interior surroundings, the free parking, and the view onto the lake.
