Yelp.com’s Buffalo community is teaming up with a collection of Buffalo’s best, and freshest cafés for an event that can only be described as a Coffee Lover’s Utopia!
On Friday, April 29 at 6:00PM, join Yelp Buffalo, along with Ashker’s Juice Bar and Bistro at Ashker’s newest location at 1526 Main Street in Buffalo for this amazing, FREE event (RSVP required – click here for information), and sample some of the best coffee brews Buffalo has to offer. Learn how to brew like the pros with some unique brewing methods, including how Walter White brewed his coffee on the show Breaking Bad. Relax while you enjoy the art, culture and fun that surrounds the coffee industry in Buffalo and enjoy samples from Public Espresso, Plume Coffee and Roastery, Kornerstone Coffee, Biscotti for Everybotti, Cafeology, Tipico Coffee, Rust Espresso (opening in Buffalo later this year), Lockhouse Distillery and of course, Ashker’s!
Special entertainment guest, from Los Angeles, and currently on his US Tour, Diego Davidenko will be playing live, acoustic music starting at 7:30, while special guest baristas will be serving up their own custom brews every thirty minutes.
Throughout the event you will get a chance to learn more about the people and businesses that are making Buffalo’s coffee revolution happen. Enjoy three-minute lightning talks from Buffalo’s coffee culture influencers, a variety of brewing demonstrations, coffee and baked goods to sample, a coffee painting demonstration, and you will have an opportunity to try the new Revolution Coffee Liqueur from Lockhouse Distillery.
“We want the event to educate people about coffee culture, and connect them to the best cafés and roasters,” stated Alex Levine, Yelp.com’s Community Manager for the Buffalo region. “At Yelp, our goal is to connect people to great local businesses, and we’re thrilled to accomplish that along with building community over coffee.”
This event will be free to the public, but RSVP’s are required and spots are limited. See the event page on Yelp.com for more information and to reserve your spot on the guest list!
