Three Buffalo musicians will be passing through town on tour with acclaimed New Zealand singer-songwriter Gin Wigmore (Kiwi Artist). Joey Secchiaroli and Steve Padin of The Reign of Kindo, and Rocco DellaNeve of Forealists, will be performing with Gin at The Waiting Room on April 9 at 7pm. The highly anticipated show/tour is a big deal for the three Buffalo musicians, as Gin has managed to carve a name for herself in some pretty big music circles as of late.
She’s as real as artists get and simultaneously as down to earth as people get.
Gin began writing songs at the age of 14. After a short hiatus, she managed to take the (overseas) music industry by storm after she won a US-based International Songwriting Competition in 2004 in which she was considered a dark horse.
Secchiaroli, Padin and DellaNeve have been touring the artist’s new album “Blood to Bone” (see video cut above), which is now beginning to make waves in the US. Gin is a big name in her home country, where she has racked up a litany of top honors at the New Zealand Music Awards – below is a video clip of the artist and the Buffalo musicians at the New Zealand Music Awards, where Gin won “Best Female Solo Artist of the Year” in 2015.
