Buffalo’s own psych-rock act Sleepy Hahas will be landing at Frizzy’s this Saturday. The band will be celebrating bassist Kevin Pryle’s birthday the only way they know how; with thumping psychedelic jams, a sweet light show and probably a lot of Genny Cream.
On hosting the event at Frizzy’s – a venue not known for having much live music – lead vocalist and guitarist Pat Butler said “Frizzy’s almost never has shows and after being frequent customers of their fine establishment for quite some time it’s cool to get back in and play”.
Sleepy Hahas have been quiet as of late, while they prepare for the release of their new album “From the Bottom of a Warm Lake”, so be sure not to miss Saturday’s set. According to Butler, there’s no reason not to be at the party. “Everywhere else you go that night is within stumbling distance, so why not start the night off right there first?”
Opening the night will be newcomers Deadwolf. The five-piece psychedelic outfit ensures that a trippy night will be had by all in attendance.
