This past week has been a good one for our boys. We smoked Anaheim and played Chicago really tough on Saturday afternoon but once again, we were undone by the hockey genius that is Party Kane. He might not be the smartest guy out on Chippewa, but on the ice he is on his own level. Man, imagine if we had a guys like Toews and Kaner… oh wait, we do! We have future Captain Ryan O’Reilly, Jack “Magic hands” Eichel, and our own Kaner, Evander!! This is what we are all about everyone… this is Buffalo hockey!! Forget Detroit calling themselves Hockey Town, we live in hockey heaven and Terry Pegula is the Mayor.
One of the best things that I feel right now, and how I’m sure the rest of my fellow fans feel, is how after that miserable Canadian road trip we didn’t fall apart and go into free fall. We got right back to it and beat LA and Detroit, two of the hottest teams in the league, then worked Anaheim and outplayed two of the best players in the NHL, Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf. And then we gave the Hawks everything they could handle. Now we have a week off to get healthy and recover and we’ll get back at it next Saturday.
Merry Christmas everyone. Go Sabres!

“I believe that the Sabres were robbed in ’99 when Hull’s skate was in the crease. Now Buffalo is home and I am looking for a Cup and a Super Bowl in short order. We have the talent and the coaching and the ownership – what is stopping us?”
Go Bills, Go Sabres, Go Bisons!
