It’s time to talk about the future of the Scajaquada Creek… once again. This time, the conversation couldn’t be more pertinent, as the future of the Scajaquada Expressway is also being addressed. One can not be discussed without talking about the other. For years we have been talking about traffic calming initiatives where the expressway is being concerned. That means that two factions of the Olmsted Park might actually come together in harmony some day. Well, sitting right there is the creek, smack dab in the middle of the entire conversation.
If you agree that the future of the Scajaquada Creek is an important part of the larger picture – hydrology, sewer issues, habitat restoration, and community engagement opportunities – then be sure to attend this upcoming public meeting and community conversation
