Developer Karl Frizlen is one step closer to developing his apartments and townhouses at 891 Delaware Avenue. Once complete, a number of residents will be able to say that they live on Millionaire’s Row, one of the most coveted stretches of real estate in the city. At this point, the plans for the townhouses (not the mansion and the carriage house) are out to bid after getting a green light from Planning Board.
“An existing asphalt parking area will be used for the construction of four townhomes in two buildings (see plans below), with each townhome accommodating a two-car garage at ground level, living-dining-kitchen on the second floor and 2-3 bedrooms on the third floor. The roof will be vegetated and accessible from each apartment. Exterior building materials are brick and pre-cast stone panels.” – BRO
Frizlen has now finalized his layout for the new builds:

^Frizlen’s group redesigned the townhouses based upon feedback from the Preservation Board. The previous modern design has been replaced with a more traditional look.
