After years of being relegated to the back of an old supermarket (it was good while it lasted), Flying Bison has broken ground on its new home in the Larkin District. Today the officials and operators behind the move came together to make the announcement, and broke out the shovels to dig in. The manufacturing and tasting center will be located at 840 Seneca Street, a short distance from the Larkin complex.
Originally Flying Bison was considering occupying an existing building (see BRO here), but the structure was apparently too far gone to reuse. The new building will accommodate all of Flying Bison’s needs previously discussed in the October article.
The brewery is scheduled to open in mid-July this summer.
