In a surprising partnership, Sugar City (arts collective) has teamed up with the NFTA (public transportation) to deliver an artistic ride along Metro Rail. Starting at 7pm on October 12, 2013, riders will board the Metro Rail at the University at Buffalo (South), upon which time the rail car will become a ticket to a series of art adventures that will all take place along the Main Street Metro Rail route at various platforms. Sugar Citizens have mapped out the trek to ensure that riders are treated to live music, performances and art installations, from stop to stop. Consider it a moveable feast for all of your senses.
Performers and artists include: Jack Toft, Gas Chamber, Mark Twain, Goo House, the Momentary Museum, Caitlin Cass, Marissa Lehner, Bryan Johnson and Family, Nick Gordon, Frank Napolski, Mario Fanone, David Adamczyk, and other to be assigned.
