On Tuesday, October 1, 2103, local filmmaker John Paget will be premiering his latest Buffalo documentary in Larkinville. I met with Paget, a West Coast transplant, back in April to discuss the the city and all of the new and exciting directions that it was going in… and all of the people who were contributing to making the turnaround happen (today there are a lot players focusing their energies on Buffalo’s rebirth).
Six months later, the ten-minute documentary is complete and a trailer has been released that shows how the filmmaker, along with producer Visit Buffalo Niagara, was able to capture some seldom seen aerial imagery that will comprise powerful segments of the video. Paget also enlisted the help of a series of activists who discuss the city’s new beginnings, and how its world class design (still intact for the most part) will be the backbone of a continued renaissance.
