This Sunday is the kickoff for The Buffalo News Summer Jazz Series – a free music series that takes place on the steps of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. The outdoor venue for the series is one of the premier settings in the city. With a backdrop of the gallery and the lake at Delaware Park, this is an opportunity for jazz lovers to get together to appreciate the finer things in life… jazz music in an Olmsted Park setting. Bring a chair, a picnic blanket, and a picnic basket, or just pop on over and plop your butt down on a stretch of grass or the gallery steps. This is a free, family friendly event. Rain date is August 11, 2013.
