There’s a yogurt shop coming to Elmwood, and it’s called Yotality. Located in the former Chow Chocolat location, at 715 Elmwood Avenue, Yotality owners Gene and Suzy O’Donovan (founders of Montana Mills Bread Company) will be bringing a new twist in the frozen yogurt craze to the street. If you take a look at their website, you can see that the concept is fairly simple. Just grab a bowl of your favorite frozen yogurt, add the toppings, and then weigh, pay and enjoy. Kinda like a salad bar, but with frozen yogurt.
The story goes, that the owners were on a trip when their daughter was injured in a ski accident. Upon visiting the hospital, they went in search of a healthy treat and stumbled upon a frozen yogurt shop. The family was so taken with the concept, that they began their own company called Yotality, which is what we are seeing coming to Elmwood now.
To see what the family has in mind when it comes to the world of toppings, take a look at the flavorful options available with each purchase (see here). From red velvet cupcake to poma energy, the flavor combinations are plentiful. Welcome to the next Elmwood food craze – self serve yogurt designed to satisfy the individual size and taste palate.
