Who doesn't like a good sci-fi film festival? OK, there are probably a few people out there who who put their hands up. But if you stop to think about sci-fi movies, the range is vast. Just think about some of the craziest B-movies that you've seen at 2am in the morning, like Destination Moon
. Then consider a family-friendly film such as E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial
. There's a wide range of science fiction movies out there, and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery is aiming to feature a few of them at an upcoming Science Fiction Film Festival on Friday March 1 from noon to 9:30pm.
The film festival was inspired by artist Kelly Richardson - the artist's immersive installations pay homage to the sets that were featured in the types of films that are to be shown on that Friday.
