Peepshow 2013: Hot Mess

Squeaky Wheel's largest fundraiser and art extravaganza is just around the corner. Peepshow is being held on Saturday February 23 from 8pm to 1pm at DNIPRO Ukrainian Center (562 Genesee Street). 

For anyone who may be unfamiliar with the quintessential soirée, then just know that there is nothing quite like it in all of Buffalo. According to organizers, this year the avant-garde affair showcases "a chance to experience a 7 foot tall bubbly volcano, test their wits in an oral sex quiz game, muck around in a pile of crocheted food and ball-pit balls, help a Barbie make important day-to-day decisions, pose on their own hot sauce bottle label, bid on fabulous work in an art auction, and be pleasantly overwhelmed by a hot and messy array of interactive installations and intoxicating videos."

In coming days, leading up to the event, Buffalo Rising will be featuring a look at number of components from the event, in order to show just what goes into this sort of edgy artistic production. Stay tuned...
