The National Garden Festival might be a long way off, but in the meantime there's an important event coming up that festival supporters should consider attending. In order to make the festival as strong as possible, operational money needs to be raised, which means that fundraising initiatives are imperative.

On Thursday, February 14 from 6pm-9pm, at Delaware Park's Marcy Casino, supporters of the National Garden Festival will come together at an event called Hearts in the Gardens. Not only is the effort a great one for the city, guests will also have a chance to mingle with others in a wonderful setting in Delaware Park.
If you haven't figured out what you are doing for Valentine's Day, here's your chance to attend a heartfelt event with people who have been steadily transforming Buffalo into a flowery destination, one neighborhood at a time.
*There are some great items being collected for the Silent Auction, including garden goodies, hotel overnights and a personal garden consultation by Sally Cunningham!
