White Cow Dairy makes progress...

White Cow Dairy makes progress...
White Cow Dairy's "Farm Shop" is not officially open to the public, but that doesn't mean that you can't stop in to make a purchase, as long as you don't expect the shop to be 100% operational (see more). White Cow Dairy is featuring limited hours and products in order to get accustomed to its new retail operation. The crux of business sales are still primarily wholesale, but every time I stop in to see how progress is going, there are more and more products on the counters, including farm fresh eggs and delicious yogurt selections (coffee, apple pie, cherry, etc).

It's hard to tell what looks better, the exterior or the interior of White Cow Dairy. I snapped a shot of the facade before the snow began to fly, to show just how much the colorful little storefront adds to the neighborhood. If you visit White Cow Dairy's Facebook page, you can get a nice glimpse of the interior (see below) as well as the limited hours when you can catch the shop open for sales. At this point they are servicing their diehard customers and immediate neighbors who happen to stumble upon the small enterprise.

Cool little store....If prices were lower for lease space...Elmwood could be lined with these great ideas...Although I kind of prefer this location

My 3 year old son and I stop in every Saturday morning, continuing the ritual we started at the Farmer's Market this summer. We spend about half an hour there and love every moment of it.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! I love how this looks and can't wait for it to be completed. They better get mooooving on that.

They were going to be one of the anchor vendors in Karl Frizlen's market project in the Horsefeathers bldg on C Sreet. Does this mean that won't be happening--?

I love the geometric sheet metal in the fireplace!
