I figured that it was only a matter of time before the former City and Country storefront (on Franklin Street) scored a new tenant (see more). At the same time, I still can't believe that there is already another retailer open so soon. Krudmart recently closed its doors on Grant Street, and has reopened at 497 Franklin Street, bringing them closer to their original Allentown stomping grounds. Thanks to previous business operator Patrick Monfort (City and Country) and his ability to clean up a long abandoned storefront, a fresh retail opportunity opened up for Krudmart just in time to bust a move for the holidays.

Any way you slice it, Krudmart has developed a loyal following of customers since first opening its doors back in 2006. The shop has also gone through a number of fashion style changes as it has bounced around the city. Today Krudmart specializes in selling street gear, from fleece lined Mishka work pants to Alexei Selvage Indigo Denims, and plenty of lids, hoodies, watches, sneaks, etc. It's good to see some legit street fashion back in the Allentown neighborhood.

Man, this store has really gone down the tubes as far as interior is concerned. Original allentown location was edited and inspired. Grant Street was well done, too.

OMG EXXXXACTLY! THERE WAS THE NICE ALLENTOWN LOCATION,BUT IT WAS SUPER SMALL. THE SECOND SPOT WAS ON GRANT ST, SUPER DOPE. THAT HAD LANCE HE WAS LITERALLY THE MAN,NEW DUDE TIM THAT'S RUNNING IT IS A COMPLETE TOOL!!THIS STORE IS REALLY FAR FROM BEING HIGH END NOW. SO SAD ... RIP KRUDMART :(
