Only club in Buffalo that brings in some good national/international EDM acts, save for the couple that swing by DBGB or are booked at Town Ballroom.
I haven't been to this place except for an EDM show, but I can say that the events I've attended there have all been top notch.

Rendezvous... what a joke. It's safe to say that after a year, it hasn't quite become "the Miami, Las Vegas-style club" you touted it as, huh, Mark? Cash-grab/banquet hall Statler's only redeeming quality is the shuffle board table in Lobby Bar.
I totally agree. I was there the night it opened and though, wow this place could be huge. The bar was stacked with hot bartenders, and I'm pretty sure some of the people there were paid to make and appearance. Other than that, this club is still the nicest club in Buffalo, but it lacks the type of demographic you need to give it a big city feel. Ps invite a couple UB sororities to party there for free once night a week and watch that place explode.
I'd take a bartender with personality and void of snottitude over a 'hot' bartender any day. Maybe it was just the days I went.
So being hot makes them a snob? Way to reinforce the stereotype.
The bartenders I've encountered at rendezvous were cold and snobbish the few times I've been there. So in this case, yes. Hot isn't enough.
