A message from the Executive Director of Preservation Buffalo Niagara, Tom Yots
It has been just a little
over four years since the birth of Preservation Buffalo Niagara and a lot has
been accomplished in that time. Not only did we play host to the National
Preservation Conference last year (the most well-attended ever), but we
launched our very first Preservation Plus conference in September, which
offered activities and workshops for all Western New York residents.
The feedback from both of theses has been very encouraging. Of course, our Buffalo Tours program continues to be extremely popular offering 57 unique tours to an estimated annual attendance of 12,000 plus participants.
Preservation Buffalo Niagara would not be who we are without our advocacy efforts for our region's most historic and valuable structures and neighborhoods. Places like the Elmwood West Historic District, the Bethlehem Steel Administration Building, the Evelyn Apartments in Niagara Falls, and Trico Plant #1 Building.
Preservation Buffalo Niagara has been at the forefront of advocating for our collective heritage and offering guidance and assistance to the community along the way.
While our activity has been growing at a fast pace, we know how important it is to take a good look at who we are and where we are going. In response to this exciting growth, Preservation Buffalo Niagara is embarking on a Strategic Planning process that will ultimately produce a 3-year plan for the organization.
Planning for our future is essential to our success and your input is critical in helping us shape our future. Your opinion matters to use. We exist to serve the needs of our community and who better to help use understand what those needs are but the community itself. It is important that we hear your voice as we shape our direction as we move forward.
Please take a moment and answer a few questions on our PBN Survey about preservation and what you think the important issues are that we ought to be addressing. The results will be used to help us identify what you think is important when it comes to preservation in our community and will become the foundation for our new strategic 3-year plan.
This short survey should not take you more than five minutes to complete, but your input will be worth a great deal as we set the course for Preservation Buffalo Niagara over the next few years. Thank you so much for your time and feedback!

Tom,
I'm looking for a building from 10,000 to 30,000 sq ft. downtown for a Sports and Entertainment Experience called Fandemoneum - got some ideas?
