DC Theatricks - One Stop Shop for all sorts of special occasions

DC Theatricks - One Stop Shop for all sorts of special occasions
By Giovanni Centurione:

Now, I know what you're already thinking - this story is going to be all about Halloween, right? Well, you're partially right because I do want to share with you the best costume shop around, but I also want to point out that there are plenty of reasons to get dressed up in costume throughout the year, not just for Halloween.

Just think of attire for The World's Largest Disco, or a Santa outfit, or a costume for a masquerade ball, theme parties and so on. There is one place that has everything you can imagine, including wigs, costume jewelry, etc. It's the perfect place for adults who are looking to stand out at a fanciful function. It's called DC Theatricks and it's located on Main Street in Downtown Buffalo. A few of my friends and I decided to check out the costume shop this past week, in preparation for upcoming Halloween and Holiday seasons.

In preparation for a Lyons Photography photo shoot, a number of us dressed up in DC Theatricks attire and suddenly found ourselves playing out the character roles befitting our respective costumes. As we waiting to be photographed, we entertained passersby in the street and tried to play our parts as best we could. With Buffalo as our backdrop we took to the streets and hammed it up as best we could.

With Halloween just around the corner, Buffalo is lucky to have a business such as DC Theatricks (learn more) to provide us with the ways and means to be the "belle of the ball" no matter what the event or circumstance. The staff at DC Theatricks is wonderful, fun, knowledgeable and more than able to accommodate any requests when it comes to looking for the perfect costume.

The next time that you're looking for a costume, skip the impersonal online shopping and consider supporting a local business that has been an institution on Main Street since 1981. There are plenty of chances to play "dress up" in Buffalo, and DC Theatricks makes finding the perfect costume both fun and affordable.

Compliments to DC Theatricks for their longevity on Main Street and their extensive offerings! (They weathered the very dark times on the street.)

Comment lane change to the next block . . .
The trees have been removed from the area in front of the former Sid Birzone building and adjoining buildings.

That's providing a considerably needed more open feeling and cohesiveness to this space. (It's across from the barricades where the train goes underground at the Theater Station.)

Hopefully, the change entices a buyer for the building.

Didn't know you were a Collins conservative. Homophobia is something you should think about getting over.

I'll make sure to do that. Was there a particular therapist you used to get over your excessive drinking? Oh, wait.....

As they say: I don't have a drinking problem, I'm from Buffalo

It's interesting that your "non drinking problem" always seems to lead you to focus on the topic of gay, and at this particular hour of the night. What does your therapist say about that?

She says I am open minded and not constrained to traditional constructs. Give it a shot...
