When I first posted on Buffalo's Alt Energy Car Club back in September (learn more), club members informed me that they were attempting to organize a cruise night where alt energy fans could gather to check out and discuss green rides. Little did I know that a few weeks later they would come up with a cruise night scheduled for this year. On Saturday October 20, 2012, local owners of alternative energy cars, along with supporters of all modes of green transportation, will gather at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus 'electric car lot' across from the Innovation Center at the corner of Ellicott and Goodell (589 Ellicott Street).

Anyone owning an alternative energy vehicle, who would like to enter a car from 1pm to 4pm is asked to contact Buffalo Green Projects. If you don't own a green car, but are curious to learn more about them, then just show up at the event. You can even take a ride in an alternative transportation vehicle, as a local dealership will be on-hand to demonstrate the ins and outs of owning a green car.
Whether it's electric, bio-diesel or hybrid, there will be a number of models to check out. Guest appearance by Buffalo Motor Works.
