5th Annual Biketoberfest
On October 18, cyclists will celebrate the 5th annual Buffalo Biketoberfest. This year Essex Street Pub will once again be the venue for the celebration, which is appropriate considering the establishment is home-base to a large faction of the bike community.
Essex Pub is situated just off Richmond Avenue, a street that is already bike-friendly and allows people from all over the city to arrive at the event safely via bike lanes.
Biketoberfest is $20 at the door, an entrance fee that helps to fund efforts at GO Bike Buffalo. Festival-goers will have access to two hours of freely flowing Rusty Chain (Buffalo's bike-friendly beer), German food, and live music (by Ten Cent Howl)... so get there early!
A bike valet will be on-hand, and if you show your valet ticket at the door the entrance fee is only $10 - what a deal.

Leave a commentI might come and check it out. I am a cyclist so it should be fun.
Our bike community is based around a BAR? That explains a few things.
I'm surprised that the fee isn't $50 or more for bikers without helmets. PC/Crunchy-Ganola Fail.
