Mad About Health

Mad About Health
Dust off your pocket squares and vintage dresses, the Clean Air Coalition is hosting "Mad About Health", a Mad Men themed fundraiser and party. By day, the Coalition works to run and win environmental justice campaigns in Western New York. Our work takes us from the gates of Tonawanda Coke to the communities surrounding the Peace Bridge. But, every once in awhile, a celebration is in order. Don Draper would undoubtedly approve.

Join us on September 6th from 7-9pm at Main Street (St)udios (515 Main Street, Buffalo) to raise your glasses high in support of the Clean Air Coalition. Admission is $12 at the door and drinks prepared by Jim and Erin (Board Chair and Executive Director, respectively) will be $5 each. Dress the part! There will be prizes for the best Mad Men themed outfits and a competition to see who can design the best advertisement for the Coalition. Don't miss it!

So is it a $12 donation, or is that the cost to get in?

The $12 is the cost to get in the door. It will go towards the work of the CACWNY.

I'll never understand that mentality in Buffalo. I don't mind giving money to a cause that's worthwhile, but just say the cost to get it in is $12. A donation is implies an option.
