We have one of these at CoworkBuffalo for private calls and one at Z80 Labs. You can find them on Craigslist usually.
Cowork looks interesting. At some point would there be a monthly fee? To get some type of 'synergy', would seem you'd need a place to post what you're working on (I could help you with that php ...if I knew that's what you needed). Is that somehow a part of this?
Also, for help with what you're working on, it's usually just a matter of asking:
"Does anyone know a good way to X" or "Does anyone know Y"
There is a monthly fee of $100. Here's the pricing plans:
I just heard that NYC re-purposed phone booths into free wi-fi, brilliant. http://www.npr.org/blogs/alltechconsidered/2012/07/24/157284146/want-free-wi-fi-in-new-york-get-near-a-pay-phone.

if there was ever a time we needed phone booths, it is now. i am astonished at the things that cell phone users blab about for all to hear. thanks, but i really don't need to know about the baby your boyfriend had with his former girlfriend and what a #!%@& ho she is. how come -he's- never a ho?
i'm amazed i haven't had to listen to somebody's phone sex conversation in public. probably only a matter of time.
thank you prish! may bars & restaurants across the land follow suit.
