Star Lights and rooftop delights

Star Lights and rooftop delights
Each year stargazers get together to party on top of the Buffalo Museum of Science. The Star Light event draws both experts and novices together to learn about the solar system while mingling with others and enjoying cocktails in a setting that is unlike any other. Star Lights is also attended by the Buffalo Astronomical Association - a group that helps observers to pinpoint objects in the sky using both telescopes and the naked eye. Best of all, the Star Lights fundraiser helps to raise operating money for one of the city's greatest natural assets - Tifft Nature Preserve. Buffalo is very unique in that it has two nature preserves found within city limits... Tifft being one and Times Beach being the other. In these tight economic times, events such as Star Lights are imperative to fund operations.

As for Star Lights, here is the rest of the info...

Look at how successful this event is!!!

Look at the wonderful views of Buffalo are available on rooftop buildings.

Our downtown, inner city neighborhoods and even suburbs are wasting prime real estate in our unused rooftops.

Buffalo can be so dense about some common sense stuff. You'd think if there was a dollar to be made someone would want to make it.
