Runway on the Water
By Steven Bales:
Caseylynn Martin of Newfane, NY is a petite young lady packing some big dreams to be in the fashion industry. Caseylynn stands about 5 feet tall with vibrant blue eyes and radiant red hair, which is typically dirty blonde. This fair skinned-small town girl is starting to create waves from the Erie Basin Marina all the way down to New York City. As a junior in Newfane H.S., Caseylynn has been featuring in multiple fashion events in the Buffalo area and plans to do many more very soon.
Only two weeks ago we were shooting photos in front of homes along Norwood Avenue near Bryant Street with photographer, Danielle Boris (see below). It was a great experience for the girls to shoot in front of such an awesome water fountain on Norwood, which I believe was one of the best features of Buffalo's Garden Walk. And make-up artist, Ashley Reed accompanied us to make sure Caseylynn was looking her best.
Miss Martin has plans to travel back to Buffalo, NY quite a few times for the months of August and September getting her feet wet in more photo shoots and fashion shows. She modeled in the previous Bales Clothing event, "The Bloom Show", on May 5th 2012 at Babeville and has photographed for Bales Clothing's new apparel. She has become one of the new faces of the company and is looking towards NYC to broaden her modeling career. But before she moves on to NYC, there is a big event in town called "Runway on the Water", a couture charity event and fashionable fundraiser presented by Seven Chances Charity. The Charity fashion show takes place on Friday, September 14th 2012. She will not grace us with her runway style that evening, but she will be the spokesperson for Bales Clothing. Such great effort to help the company she is working with move forward.
I asked Caseylynn what magazines would she love to feature in and her response was "...Elle, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Vogue, Glamour". And I concluded by asking her if she would love to act and she said "Yesssss! Haha."
I'm excited for the future of this young lady, I wouldn't be surprised to see her on the cover of a major magazine one day! Come down to Canalside and experience Runway on the Water coming up in September. It's going to be a waterfront spectacular with plenty of fashion and fun for everyone to enjoy.
