Leave a commentWhere's the neon sign that used to be on the building!?
I don't know from personal experience, but in the photo the "Dresses" sign just looks like a movie prop added to the front during filming. From the side, you can see the same plain white sign that is still there reading Burgio TV.
There was a great neon sign on the more southern building up until this latest renovation.
Hey Burgio's, I love the anti-casino gambling poster in your window!
Congrats on the great work on your storefront.
Any idea what's happening with the old Parkside Candy corner? I looked in the window a few months back, and all the woodwork, booths and the bar looked perfectly intact.
I'm trying to get in touch with the owners so I can do a post. I should hopefully have something soon. As mentioned in this post, Parkside Candies is one of the other buildings receiving the grant money so that's why there have been improvements.
Now, if only Mr. Burgio would stop parking his van on the sidewalk. He has a rear access.
Any chance you could post a bigger, clearer picture of the renovated building? It's barely a thumbnail and it's very dark.
Click the "View image" link at the end of the article for a slightly bigger picture.

Wow, what a beautiful building and apartment those windows make.
Who would have thought that new windows would make such a big difference.
So many good things happening in Buffalo.
It would be nice if they could infill buildings with similar period architecture
