As you are out and about this weekend, looking for something to do, don't forget to stop by Chalkfest (see more)- a completely new and different family-friendly event that is loaded with artistic activities to see and do.

What makes this event so exciting is the reemerging section of Main Street where it is being held, along with all of the different personalities that have set out to make it all happen. If you've never seen live sidewalk chalk drawing, then you are in for a real treat. Bring the entire family downtown to enjoy free draws, hopscotch, sully, live music and dance, and later in the day there will be a beer tent and fire dancing (today only).
If you miss Chalkfest, then you'll have to wait for next year to catch it again. Plus, this initiative could really use your support as it helps to jumpstart an artist scene on the 500-block in Downtown Buffalo. On your way to the event, don't forget to stop by The Peddler - Buffalo's retro and vintage flea market located at the corner of West Ferry And Elmwood (every Saturday).
