Larkin Square's Custom Ice Cream Cart Creation
Who wouldn't want his or her own custom ice cream cart? One with a branded market umbrella, serving up locally made ice cream? In Larkinville anything is possible, especially when it comes to requests made by Leslie Zemsky, Director of Fun. If you happen to be down at Larkin Square's 'Live at Larkin' concert series this evening, then you will notice that there is a nice new addition to the regular line-up of fun under the sun. Yes, it's a custom ice cream cart and it's only available in Larkinville. "We are excited to introduce locally made Lake Effect ice cream and East Park Pops to Larkin Square this week," Leslie stated. "Both tasty treats can be found in The Filling Station Restaurant and sold Larkin Square style - in our custom designed ice cream cart!"

According to the Director of Fun, the cart is adorned with fanciful 'sweet treat' images, hand painted by Leslie Zemsky herself. The cart was manufactured in Queens, NY at the 100 year old Workman Bikes factory, fabricator of the original New York City hot dog carts. Of course a district as unique as Larkinville screams for a cart as classy as the one seen here - notice that Leslie is wearing a custom skirt that matches the exact design on the cart? That's no coincidence. Everything designed for Larkin Square is part of a carefully thought out plan to create an image that dates back to the time when the Larkin Soap Company was operating. There's a rhyme and reason behind everything, including something as simple as a thoughtfully-designed ice cream cart. It's time to beat the heat, Larkin style!
