This coming Saturday, the WNY Book Arts Center is hosting its annual Buffalo Book Fest. If you're not aware of the event, this is a completely interactive day-long gathering of book aficionados who are dedicated to the art of printing, binding and the overall creation of books. Not only will people who are interested in this craft be attending, there will also be plenty of writers, publishers, print-makers, artisans, crafts people and others who enjoy the process and end-result of old-world book arts. There will be demonstrations, bookbinding, hand-bound books for sale, letterpress prints and printing, outdoor steamroller printmaking, papermaking, marbled paper and small press publications.
