BYP Happy Hour Tonight at Adam Mickiewicz Library

BYP Happy Hour Tonight at Adam Mickiewicz Library
BYP Happy Hour is tonight and we are heading to one of the most historic places on the east side to drink beer, talk buffalo and learn a couple things about what is happening in the Buffalo preservation world. Some topics of discussion tonight will include the Bethlehem Steel Administration Building, Trico, demolitions in the city, the Peace Bridge expansion and related demolition, and more. Whether you're in the know about all these topics or you're new to the preservation crowd stop by for some good brews and even better discussion.

The Adam Mickiewicz Library is located at 612 Fillmore Avenue and accepts cash only, the event goes from 7 to 9 pm tonight. For more information and history about the location check this out from Forgotten Buffalo. If you're so inclined you can also sign up on the BYP Facebook page. See you tonight!

Fans of old timey things will be sure to check out the wall paper in the bar area. They don't make patterns like that any more!

Mickey's, as its called by regulars and those who frequent the Polonia District, is a very special place. A dedicated group of volunteers have kept the doors open for future generations to discover. It is a place so authentic that their is nothing else like it in Buffalo. Part lounge, part library, part performance space..... Check out a recent Saturday night at Mickey's.... http://youtu.be/KbzdZFMnbls
