Crowley Webb, a full-service marketing communications agency, i announced the winner of their Twenty-Five Hour Workday contest: You and Who. In honor of their 25th anniversary - celebrated earlier this year - Crowley Webb partnered with Business First to create the contest. The prize is an ad campaign for one deserving local startup produced in one marathon, non-stop, 25-hour day.
Founded in September 2010, You and Who works with artists from around the country to design custom t-shirts. For each sold, the company donates matching items and meals to organizations that help those in need. You and Who won the contest with 47% of the total votes.
The runners up were Triad Recycle Energy Corporation on River Road in Tonawanda and Community Beer Works on Lafayette Avenue in Buffalo.
More than 40 businesses entered the contest by submitting proposals at crowleywebb.com/25. When the finalists were announced, they were encouraged to garner votes on the contest site. The result? More than 15,000 votes were cast between November 14 and December 4.
The agency will begin working on You and Who's campaign the morning of January 26, 2012 with the finished product being delivered 25 hours later.
