Annual Central Terminal Clean-Up Reminder

Annual Central Terminal Clean-Up Reminder

Just a reminder to all those interested in supporting the continuing efforts at the Central Terminal, their annual Clean-up will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9am-noon. All volunteers are encouraged to bring tools or equipment if possible. The event is rain or shine.

The terminal will provide many of the tools, but additional ones are always welcome. After the clean-up drinks and hot dogs will be offered to all those who helped. "Over the years, this community volunteer day has positively transformed the Terminal's concourse and grounds making it a point of pride in the community and allowing for the Terminal to be used for events that generated much needed funds to secure the building."

Also those interested in learning more about Buffalo's Young Preservationists are encouraged to attend for additional information and to provide personal input and suggestions. The BYP has partnered with the CTRC and this will be their first official event.

I'll be there! That photo reminds me that the concourse would be a great place for an outdoor farmers/art market...

It's always a great time at the Central Terminal, even when you are working. Our group got one of the side garages cleaned out and then stayed longer to clean/edge most of the sidewalk area on the left side leading up to the terminal.

I also got a chance to meet a few BYP members and discuss our favorite topic, Buffalo!
