The festival will feature documentary films, feature films, music videos, short films, student films and Western New York films. Those who attend will have the chance to see samples of the various film projects and also interact with the people who are involved in their creation. It will also be a great networking opportunity for local filmmakers and those in the film industry. The festival will include opening night galas, filmmaker receptions, panel discussions and seminars throughout the 10-day period.
The three locations that will be hosting the events are The Market Arcade Film & Arts Center, The Historic Riviera Theatre and The Rapids Theatre. A complete list of the events and films being shown can be found on the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival website.
Squeaky Wheel will be featuring their works from "Channels: Stories from the Niagara Frontier & The Buffalo Youth Media Institute" at The Market Arcade Theater on Thursday, April 14 at 4 p.m. The films included will all focus on Buffalo and some of the city's remarkable people. Admission to this community block screening will be $10 for non-members and $5 for members.
All of the funds raised from ticket fees will go toward autism and related projects. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis as seats are limited. To obtain tickets and learn more about the festival, visit the official website.

Is this the same as the Buffalo International Film Festival (BIFF)?
There are two film festivals here in Buffalo that have very similar names. I can't tell 'em apart. Seems to me that they should join forces...safety in numbers.
