It's good to hear about these awards. I think it's also excellent on BRO's part to let us know the story behind the relative unknown projects such as the 2 Niagara Falls efforts, the Black Rock photography project and the Concordia Cemetery restoration. Being an ex-pat, this is the first I've heard about those particular preservation activities and I don't know anything about Mr.Kavanagh or Mr.Laping. I saw 257 Lafayette this past summer and was impressed and the Genesee Gateway restoration story deserves national recognition. I'm sure this Fall's conventioneers will like it too.

really good event, i highly recommend it. it's great to applaud those who have done the hard work of saving stuff.

having said that, i wish pbn would do more than run tours and throw luncheons, even though those things are worthwhile and pbn does them well. they have sat silently by during a string of recent demolitions and it is a real disappointment.

35 Lincoln Pkwy is an incredible house. I don't recall it being restored recently?

I drive by 35 Lincoln most every morning. I do recall a lot of contractors there for an extended period of time.
