For the second year in a row, Olmsted Parks Conservancy is moving forward with a five-week concert series at the Gala Waters Boathouse (Marcy Casino). The Music at the Marcy music series kicks off on February 24th with a double-header - 4in Tune and the JT Blues Band. This Thursday night doors open at 5:30pm and music starts at 6pm. Beer, wine and food will be provided by Magnolia Catering - a chef manned station will feature hand carved pit ham, roasted turkey, crab sandwiches, etc. Cole's will be on hand with their famous chicken wings and plenty of sides to choose from. Food options are $6.
The Music at the Marcy series continues each and every Thursday, featuring (in order) Outer Circle Orchestra (March 3), Fools Like Us (March 10), The Informers (March 17), and the series wraps up with Free Henry! (March 24). Admission is $5 at the door with parking available along Lincoln Parkway. This is a family-friendly, all-ages music series geared towards promoting local bands while encouraging more public events at the Marcy Casino. For additional information, visit the Olmsted Parks site or follow the series on Facebook.
