Night Lights at the Botanical Gardens

Night Lights at the Botanical Gardens
The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens will be putting on an exhibit throughout much of the month of February that emphasizes the beauty in the intersection of light and the natural world.

For the first three weekends of the month, the interior of the Gardens will be transformed by theatrical and interactive lighting displays. The exhibition will incorporate hues inspired by nature and a musical soundtrack that will correspond with the lights.  These lights will illuminate the plant life, glass domes and the 30-foot waterfall in the Tropical Rainforest house, further accentuating their beauty.

The exhibit is the creation of SitlerHQ, LLC and Volt Vision, Inc.  These same designers own and operate the Night Lights at The Heron site in Chautauqua County.  This eco-tourism site is comprised of a lighted one-mile trail walk through the woods. Much like the upcoming display at the Gardens, this trail walk is designed to stimulate a full sensory experience of nature.

The Night Lights at the Garden will be taking place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (February 3-5th, 10-12th and 17-19th). The cost of admission will be $10 for adults, $8 for Garden Members, seniors and students, $6 for children ages 3-12 years, and free for children age 3 and under.

On Thursday, February 3, the Gardens will host a special preview night of the Night Lights display.  Admission for this date will be $5.

My friends have been to NIGHT LIGHTS down by Chautauqua and said it's a really cool experience. This sounds fun.
